The Metaverse is becoming the place to be for all kinds of brands. It does not matter whether it is the automotive, sports, movies, gaming, or the fashion industry, the Metaverse has room for all.
Several fashion brands have already made their debuts. These include Gucci, Prada, and others. But Burberry is making its second entry NFT collection. To create this collection, it will collaborate with a previous partner, Mythical Games.
When is the launch? Plans for the launch are for today (June 22), on Blankos Block Party, an open-world, multiplayer game.
“Last year when we were trying to tell people that we’re going to take a heritage coat and stick it on a shark wearing armbands for a video game, even when I say it like that, it sounds quite far-fetched,” said Rachel Waller, Vice President of Channel Innovation at Burberry.
The collection will succeed last year’s limited-edition NFT vinyl toy, Sharky B with a special edition unicorn named Minny B.
Who is Minny B? It’s a mythical creature featuring a spiraled horn; a black mohawk hairstyle; an orange tail, and a set of white wings. Wings? Yes, to allow the character to explore new spaces by flight.
Each player will be able to add accessories to their portfolio. The accessories include boomboxes, TB sliders, lucky horseshoe necklaces, and a “Shellphone,” a seashell-inspired mobile phone accessory.
The brand did not forget about its Sharky B customers. Soon, they will enjoy a free monogram bucket hat.

The Oasis is a bespoke social space designed like a cabana-style resort. Burberry customers can meet other customers, connect, and explore. You will find various beaches, branded sailboats, and monogrammed sun loungers inspired by the house’s takeovers in Saint-Tropez, South Korea, Singapore, and Ibiza.
