About Kelly Ann

As a digital pioneer, Kelly Ann Collins became one of the first bloggers – ever – after working as a journalist.

Throughout her career, she helped to launch, an emerging markets telecom intelligence platform, an AI-powered social media platform, and a venture capital firm. In 2005, she joined AOL Co-founder Steve Case’s Revolution where she helped launch 50 microbrands before founding a pop culture-meets-politics blog – the first publication of its kind to gain credentials at The White House. She also worked to help put United Nations events online, live and social as a part of the five-person “SDG Zone” launch team.

Now, as she continues to amplify social good and corporate social responsibility via Vult Lab, she is also working to uplift inspiring ideas in Web3 – especially from the voices of women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and those living in underserved areas, such as Appalachia and LMICs – through live events on Twitter Spaces, webinars, and Into the Meta News, which is the first news organization reporting in the Metaverse.

When she and her Vult Lab and Damasco Innovations colleagues noticed a lack of representation in the NFT and Web3 space, they set our to create a space for creators, by creators – which eventually became Into The Meta News!

The team at Into The Meta News believes in the power of humanity, connected for change and our goal is to help create a better world for everyone, everywhere by showcasing inspiring artists and projects from around the globe.
