WWE’s launches Moonsault Marketplace, debuts NFT collection

WWE fans might’ve watched all of the premium events, and bought the merchandise of their favorite superstars — now, the WWE team is launching a Web3 experience.

The WWE universe has entered the Metaverse with a number of plans on the horizon.

Last month, on May 27, 2022, after promoting it across WWE and FOX media platforms, as well as on WWE Discord, it launched its NFT marketplace Moonsault. Additionally, WWE rewarded the first 10,000 fans that created a wallet with a free Moonsault Genesis NFT.

But what is an NFT marketplace without more NFTs? Thus, shortly after, it launched its debut NFT collection that coincided with the semi-annual premium live event WWE HELL IN A CELL on June 5. The collection includes 10,000 NFTs of WWE Superstars that participated in the HELL IN A CELL event. The “NFT Flips” have a twist to them. A few days after HELL IN A CELL, each NFT will transform into a 10- to 20-second video highlight of the featured WWE superstar.

How do you get your hands on them? Each NFT case that holds three costs $30 USD. Eluvio’s eco-friendly blockchain technology is powering the Moonsault platform.

Going forward, Moonsault will launch more exclusive variants of the product “cases of NFT Flips,” other video highlights, and digital collectibles focusing on WWE Superstars and famous moments from the company’s history.
