Do you know someone who was once an NFT skeptic but changed their mind?

Ye is allegedly one of the latest converts. After openly opposing NFTs in a handwritten letter on Instagram in February, his company, YEEZUS, has now filed for several U.S. federal trademarks.

“Kanye West has filed 17 new trademark applications around his YEEZUS name. The filings indicate an intent to launch YEEZUS-branded amusement parks, NFT’s, toys, and more. #KanyeWest”, Trademark Attorney Josh Gerben said.

The submissions include trademark requests involving amusement parks, retail stores, toys, games, sporting equipment, and shockingly, blockchain-backed currencies and NFTs.

“You know NFT people get paid in perpetuity on the product that they put out. My image is the part of something I should get paid off. We all got to make money together. There is more people in the world. There is more money in the world, Let’s all make money together,” Kanye said.

It looks like Ye is no longer interested in just building physical products. The NFT bug has finally caught up to him.

The new trademark applications are a clue of his alleged interest in venturing into the online world through NFTs.
