He-Man, Coinshare, Konami, OpenSea, and Anthony Hopkins feature in Web3

If you grew up in the 90s, you will recognize some of the brands that made web3 moves this week. From popular animations to video game makers, noteworthy projects were entering the space.

He-Man, Coinshare, Konami, OpenSea, and Anthony Hopkins got our eyes peeled. Have a look at what happened. 

The popular and historic cartoon, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe made 40 years this week on October 12th. To celebrate, Mattel announced the launch of the official MOTU digital toy collection i.e. NFTs.

It was created in collaboration with the NFT platform Cryptoys. The collection launches on November 9.

 

CoinShares launched an experimental AI bot on Thursday. It will help traders determine a fair NFT price by aggregating different data sets. 

You can activate the feature by grabbing the OpenSea link for a particular NFT and tweeting at the bot. It will respond with a fair price for the NFT.

Konami has been one of the dominant forces in developing and publishing video games. Now, they are looking to join the nft world. It is expanding its talent pool with roles related to non-fungible tokens, Web3, and the Metaverse. 

This follows the relative success of Castlevania’s 35th Anniversary NFT sales.

OpenSea is furthering its features and services despite the bearish market. Most recently, it has launched natively on the layer-1 blockchain, Avalanche. This extends its plans of being a multichain NFT marketplace.

It joins other platforms like NFTrade, Joepegs, and Kalao.

Anthony Hopkins can now add another accolade to his two Oscars, a sold-out NFT collection. His NFT collection not only sold out but did it in 7 minutes. 

The NFT collection called “The Eternal Collection” features 1,000 original art pieces inspired by his long career in Hollywood. It was created in collaboration with Orange Comet. 

 The bear market is not all doom and gloom. It also comes with good news and developments including web3 partnerships, sold-out NFT collections, and new brands preparing for a metaverse future.
